Being a geographer:

We are fascinated by the world around us and what it is like.  We love to learn about the physical and human impact on our planet.  We love to use our fieldwork skills to link ideas.  We love to use data and patterns to find out about geography.  We use maps, diagrams, globes, aerial photos and Google earth to locate and study places around the world.  

Earth is an amazing planet, with vast oceans, high mountains, deep lakes, and dry deserts. Through our geography curriculum, we aim to inspire our children to find out more about the world we live in and the people that inhabit it. By studying both physical and human geography we want our children to understand the relationship between the earth and the people that inhabit it. We want pupils to understand the impact that humans have on the planet and likewise the impact that the environment can have on our lives.
