PSHE and Relationship and Sex Education (RSE)
At Kirkheaton we aim to develop children's personal, social and emotional skills. We want our children to have fulfilling lives where they are healthy, have good relationships and can understand how to be their best selves.
Our PSHE curriculum ignites children's interst and starts their learning journey in a variety of areas, including learning about themselves, each other and about the world around them. PSHE gives children the opportinity to ask questions, build bonds and have their own voice heard.
PSHE is important to us because it prepares our children to be positive members of our community.
