Student Council
Student Council Aims:
- a safe, happy and fair learning environment
- a place where they can voice their concerns and act upon them
- an opportunity to take an active role in the organisation of the school
School Council represents the whole school. It aims to prepare our children for life in the wider world by teaching them about roles, responsibilities, respect and rights.
We are made up of one representative from each class in school. The representative shares information and asks for their classes' views and ideas on how we can change things for the benefit of everyone in our school community.
Members are elected through a voting process with their peers, much like a general election for an MP. The elected members will hold council with their class to gain their opinions, much like an MP holding council with their constituents.
